Welcome!

My Courses

TL;DR; My Courses is the learner's home screen in the LMS — a single page showing every course they're enrolled in, their progress on each, and a quick way to jump back into where they left off. You find it at /lms/my/courses.

If you're a learner, My Courses is basically the only LMS page you need to know about. Everything else — your course content, your progress, your next activity — flows from here.

Getting to My Courses

There are two ways to land on My Courses:

  • Direct URL: /lms/my/courses.
  • LMS home page: if you're a learner and you visit the top-level LMS page, Lupo recognizes that you're a learner and sends you straight to My Courses. You don't have to navigate through company and department pages to find your content.

The direct-redirect behavior is deliberate. Learners don't need to think about the Companies → Departments → Courses hierarchy that instructors and admins live in — they just need to see their enrolled courses.

My Courses page with course cards

What's on the page

My Courses shows a grid of course cards, one per course you're currently enrolled in. Each card shows:

  • Course title and a short description.
  • Company and department the course belongs to.
  • Enrollment date, section count, and activity count.
  • Status (Published or Draft) and Visibility (Internal or Private) badges.
  • A "View Details" button and a "View Content" button (labeled with the section and activity count).

Courses you're no longer enrolled in drop off the list automatically.

Opening a course

Click View Content on a course card to open the course outline. You'll see all sections and activities, a "Your progress" panel showing how many required activities you've completed and your overall percentage, and a "Recent activity" panel showing your latest interactions. Optional activities are tracked separately and don't affect your required completion percentage.

From any activity, the breadcrumb at the top takes you back to the course outline, and from there back to My Courses.

What learners see vs. what instructors see

If you're both a learner and an instructor — you take some courses and teach others — you'll have two parallel views of the LMS:

  • My Courses shows the courses you're enrolled in as a learner.
  • Departments and course admin pages show the courses you teach.

The same account can have both views. Switching between them is typically a matter of navigating to a different URL — My Courses at /lms/my/courses, admin views from the normal LMS browse hierarchy.

Enrollment and unenrollment

You don't enroll yourself in courses — someone with Instructor access enrolls you. See Enrolling People in a Course for the admin side.

If you've been unenrolled from a course you were previously taking, it disappears from My Courses. Your progress data is preserved in the course reports but you won't see the course on your home screen anymore.

Troubleshooting

A few things that can go wrong:

  • "I expected to see a course and it's not there." You haven't been enrolled yet, or you were enrolled and then unenrolled. Check with the course's instructor or your admin.
  • "The page is empty." You're not currently enrolled in any courses. If you should be, the same applies — check with your instructor or admin.
  • "My progress isn't updating." Progress usually updates within a few seconds, but occasionally a page refresh is needed. If it still looks stuck after a refresh, flag it.
