Ask Questions
TL;DR; Ask Lupo, the AI assistant that answers from a course's own content, can be available on any course that isn't instructor-led, when the course has it turned on. It's never available on instructor-led classes — for those, ask your instructor.
Before you start
Nothing — this is about what's available where, not a task to complete.
Steps
On a course that isn't instructor-led, look for the Ask Lupo panel under the content — on a video, for example, it opens with a prompt to ask a question about that video.
Type your question and send it. The answer comes from that specific piece of content — a question about a video gets answered from the video, not the whole course. See Work through the Student Guide for what an answer looks like.
On an instructor-led class, you won't see Ask Lupo anywhere in the course — not in the navigation, not on the Student Guide. This is deliberate, not a bug: instructor-led classes route questions to the instructor instead.
If you have a question on an instructor-led class, ask your instructor directly, or use Get to support if it's not something your instructor can answer.
What this doesn't do
Ask Lupo doesn't appear on an instructor-led class under any circumstance today, even if the same content also exists in an on-demand or self-paced version — the assistant is off for the instructor-led course itself.
Common issues
Ask Lupo isn't where I expect it. If the course is instructor-led, that's expected — see above. On any other course, Ask Lupo is turned on or off for the course and for each activity, so not every activity offers it, and a video's panel only appears once the video has a transcript. If you think it should be there, ask your instructor or course admin, or contact support.
